CHAIRMAN AND MANAGING DIRECTORMr. Samiappan Arumugam is the promoter of V.K.A. polymers as well as Chairman and Managing Director. He started his business career in the diary sector in the early 1960s and then diversified into transports and polymers. He was one of the founders of V.K.A. Polymers which began its production in the year 1998 in association with Mr.E.Subbarayan, a ioneer in the field of monofilament mosquito nets made of HDPE. He has 5 decades of experience in business operations.
Mr. KARUPPANNAN ARUMUGAM
EXECUTIVE DIRECTORMr. Karuppannan Arumugam is a co-promoter of V.K.A. polymers as well as the Executive Director. He holds a Master’s degree in Geology. He started his business career in the early 1980’s in the transportation sector and later ventured into polymers along with the Chairman. He has vast experience in organizing and managing finance and public relations. He has played a vital role during the early years in stabilizing VKA Polymers that he has over 35 years of business experience in the same field but still involves in finance management of the company in an active manner.
Mr. ANAND SAMIAPPAN
DIRECTORMr. Anand Samiappan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s in Technology and Computing from RMIT, Australia. He worked as a Business Analyst for Telecommunications projects in Australia and later on took over the VKA Polymers as a Director in the early 2000s. His active participation in the modernization of the production unit is appreciable. Having put in 17 years of experience in VKA Polymers is highly commendable.
Mr. ARVIND VEERARAKKIAM KARUPPANNAN
DIRECTORMr. Arvind Veerarakkiam Karuppannan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business management from GRD college of science, Coimbatore and Post Graduate Diploma in Home textile management from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles & Management, Coimbatore. Later on he pursued his career in Diploma in Food Science and Technology at William Angliss institute, Australia. His main focus is on management of production, Human Resources and CSR activities of V.K.A. Polymers. His background in Food Technology supports in the efficient management of the Dairy sector of the V.K.A. Group. He has over 5 years of experience in Polymers Technology and applies the same in the endeavour of Marketing and Regulatory affairs of V.K.A. Polymers.
