At V.K.A. Polymers, our leadership team is the backbone of our success. Comprising visionary thinkers, industry experts, and dedicated professionals, who steer the company toward its mission of innovation, sustainability, and global impact.
Mr. Samiappan Arumugam is the founder and visionary behind V.K.A. Polymers, serving as its Chairman and Managing Director. Beginning his entrepreneurial journey in the dairy sector during the early 1960s, he later diversified into transportation and polymers.
As one of the pioneers of the company, he was instrumental in launching V.K.A. Polymers in collaboration with Mr. E. Subbarayan, a trailblazer in the field of HDPE monofilament extrusion. With over five decades of business expertise, his strategic insights have laid the foundation for the company’s success.
Mr. Karuppannan Arumugam, co-promoter and Executive Director of V.K.A. Polymers, brings over extensive business experience to the table. A Master’s degree holder in Geology, he began his career in the transportation sector in the early 1980s before joining forces with the Chairman to venture into polymers.
Known for his exceptional skills in financial management and public relations, he played a pivotal role in stabilizing the company during its formative years and continues to actively oversee its financial operations.
Mr. Anand Samiappan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s in Technology and Computing from RMIT, Australia. After gaining valuable experience as a Business Analyst in the telecommunications sector in Australia, he joined V.K.A. Polymers as a Director in the early 2000s.
His expertise has been a key to modernize the company’s production units, and his vast experience and knowledge in the domain have contributed significantly to the company’s growth and innovation.
Mr. Arvind Veerarakkiam Karuppannan brings a diverse educational and professional backgrounds to V.K.A. Polymers. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and multiple diplomas in Textiles Technology, and Food Science from premier institutes in Coimbatore and Australia, he oversees the company’s production management, Human Resources, and CSR initiatives.
Additionally, his expertise in food technology supports the efficient management of the V.K.A. Group’s dairy operations. With over a decade of experience in polymer technology, he plays a crucial role in the marketing and regulatory affairs of the company.
